Christian Radio

This blog has been established to talk about Christian Radio (the industry) and to encourage those who are working in the industry. I would like to talk about news, music, programs and whatever else comes up. My goal is to get listeners and the professionals to talk about the issues to help make the ministry even better and stronger. Tell all you know about this blog.

Too much to do

I'm overwhelmed with things to do.

I've got to develop a marketing strategy. I've got to follow up with churches that subscribed to our monthly church bulletin inserts service. Most of our subscribers expire in November. Even though NRB is in February, I have to prepare a strategy for that as we'll be in our 15th year. That should be a huge celebration. I have to get the web site ready to handle giving away our 2006 calendars. I've got to figure out what new things to put on our new web site, which needs a redesign. We were built before our sister ministries and yet we're last to be redesigned (I don't understand that). Agency relations is falling in my lap this month since our guy is out of the country. Members of my staff are dealing with heavy issues and aren't focused (to no fault of their own). I have to call our donors, call news advertisers, set up interviews, write stories, post stories.

Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but I can't do it all. I have a great team, but there's just too much to do.
